I am the Cookie Mom (they call it a Cookie Manager, but lets call it what it really is) for my daughter's Daisy troop.
I thought "oh, they are only 5 and 6, how many cookies are we going to sell on their first try? Besides, what do I really need to do? Help them set up booths and distribute cookies?"
Wrong, wrong, wrong. People, don't be fulled, Girl Scouts is business and should be run as such! I think I could write a book called "How to Fail at Being a Girl Scout Cookie Mom." It's all going to be OK, but I have struggled....
Now I have 10 cases of cookies at my house and no more booths or interested customers because not one of those packages of cookies is a Thin Mint.
I also don't get why that is everyone's favorite cookies. Yeah, they are good, but it's not the best cookie.
I'm a Peanut Butter Pattie and Lemonades girl, myself.
So, if there is anyone in the Philadelphia area who would like to purchase a large amount of cookies for their employees or some special occasion, PLEASE CONTACT ME :)
For everyone else who is up to their ears in Girl Scout Cookies, here are some recipes that I have found on various other blogs and websites that look sooooooo good.

I love the coconut girl scout cookies and if you weren't like 5 or 6 hours away I'd try to get some.
